Steve says ‘I would very much like to take part in the 13 mile sponsored walk taking place in Redditch on Saturday 11th May in support of Christian Aid. Alas I cannot be there because of another commitment arguably even more challenging; I am required to travel about an hour before attending, sitting through and contributing to a SIX HOUR LONG church meeting called a SYNOD. Actually like a sponsored walk there can be enjoyable moments, but sponsoring me to attend supporting Christian Aid would make me feel even better about being there. Christian Aid week is officially 12-18 May.’
