Christine Chambers

Circuit Administrator and PA to the Superintendent
Associated Circuit Locations: Bromsgrove
I have a Methodist background having grown up in the Black Country and being an active member in the Blackheath and Halesowen Circuit. I have been involved in the Girls’ Brigade since the age of seven and over the years have held Company and District positions of leadership. My working life began as an office clerk at a steel stockholders in Oldbury but when my two children became of school age I returned to education as a mature student and graduated from Wolverhampton University with a degree in History with Media and Communication Studies. I completed a postgraduate course at Newman College for a PGCE and taught in primary schools in Dudley and Birmingham.

I worked as a Lay Worker in the Blackheath and Halesowen Circuit for four years before coming to the Bromsgrove and Redditch Circuit seven years ago as an administrator working alongside the Superintendent Minister.
I enjoy being involved in church projects such as Bromsgrove Crosslinks supporting activities organised for older people to help to prevent social isolation and getting to know more about people.
