Sunday morning service recommences at Bromsgrove Methodist Church

2 August, 2020
10:30 am

We are delighted to announce that we are recommencing 10.30am Sunday morning services at Bromsgrove Methodist Church from this coming Sunday 2nd August. In preparation we need to share the following information:

– There will be ways we need to proceed to be Covid-safe, such as social distancing, hand sanitisation and wearing face coverings (please bring one with you) so please come ready to follow any instruction given.

– Some things about the service will be different, such as no congregational hymn singing, but we will find ways to come together to worship. The service will include communion.

– There is an absolute capacity of around 50. If you intend to come ideally please let Rev Steve Levett know by phone (01527 757017) or email ( so that we can try to get some sense of how many might attend. If from feedback we think we are likely to have more than 50 wanting to attend we might need to ask a few people to forego this week. It is hoped at least some of the elements of the service will be available over the internet via Zoom ( log-in details Meeting ID: 840 2438 1181 Passcode: 604632. Link: ). In addition the District Livestream service will still be taking place at the same time.

– Please be aware that we need to discourage informal gathering and conversation inside the building both before and following the service. If you would like to chat with folk following the service in a safe distanced manner we suggest the grass in front of the building might suffice though no seating can be provided.
